Housing and Student Engagement are departments in Student Affairs – Student Life who focus on student support, student development, and access to relevant student resources and support. This combined application centralizes the process for hiring student employees and student leaders in these departments.

The 2024-2025 Student Life student employment application includes the following positions:

Application Instructions

This application has four parts.

Part 1: Check the positions you are most interested in being chosen for. Include your personal and identifying information and agree to the minimum requirements for employment. Finally, share how you learned about the application.

Part 2: Answer questions about your personal and professional experience, strengths, and why you are applying to work in Housing or Student Engagement.

Part 3: Provide information regarding your academic progress. Note whether you currently live on the BC campus and let us know your availability for Fall 2024 and any expected commitments you have for the 2024-2025 academic year.

Part 4: Review your application answers and submit your application to Student Life.

Tentative Timeline

4/8: Application opens.

4/30: We’ll contact applicants for an interview with a panel of Student Life staff.

5/6: Interviews begin.

5/12: Applicants submit post-interview feedback to Student Life.

5/13: We might contact applicants for second interviews.

5/31: We’ll begin making position offers for the Student employment positions.
