Through Eastern Washington University’s Bellevue program, BC students can complete upper-division coursework in psychology to obtain bachelor’s degrees in psychology without needing to move to a different campus.

Eastern Washington University’s Bellevue program (located on BC campus, D Building 171D) is accepting applications from Bellevue College students who are seeking degrees in Psychology, including a B.A. in Psychology (in-person) and a B.S. in Health Psychology (in-person and online available).
The psychology degree is one of the most versatile degrees offered, preparing students for graduate school, as well as a wide variety of occupations. We offer small class sizes and opportunities for participation in research and internships. Our undergraduate program is designed to cover the essential areas of contemporary psychology and offer opportunities for focused and specialized learning.
Spring 2023 classes for Eastern Washington University begin on April 3, 2023. We also welcome inquiries from prospective students who are aiming to start later, such as Summer 2023 or Fall 2023.
Courses are primarily at night, complemented with online offerings and Friday seminars. Undergraduate students have the opportunity to be actively involved with current research and internship experiences in the community.
Our courses prepare our students for their next steps, helping them become stronger candidates for graduate school programs or positions in a competitive job market. We also offer psychology minors to students wanting to further specialize or who are pursuing other majors.

Transfer students can be admitted by one of the following paths:
1. Direct transfer degree with a minimum of 2.0/C overall GPA
2. 40+ transfer credits with an overall GPA of a 2.5 or better
3. 40+ transfer credits with a 2.0-2.49 overall GPA; must have ENGL& 101 and at least MATH 099 class with a 2.0/C or better in each class
ATS-DTA is preferred. The BA in Psychology also requires 2 years of a single foreign language in high school or 3 quarters of a single foreign language at the college level for graduation.
General Admission Information for Psychology: To declare psychology as a major, students must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0/C and have taken and passed (with a C or higher) General Psychology (PSYC 100) or its equivalent.
General Degree Completion Requirements for Psychology: Students who major in psychology, but transfer some lower division psychology coursework from other colleges/universities, must complete at least 50 hours of upper division credits in the 70 credit major. Up to 20 credits of lower division psychology coursework, and up to 30 credits total, may be transferred and count toward major requirements in psychology.
