Review a list of items that students can work on to set themselves up for a successful Winter Quarter.
More Information:
Welcome to Winter Quarter 2023!
As you prepare to start the Winter Quarter, we want to make sure you have access to the supplies and support to aid in your success! Here are some things to keep in mind:
If you have had disability accommodations in the past and need them for Winter OR if you need to establish new accommodations set up, be sure to connect with the Disability Resource Center as soon as possible. Visit the DRC website to learn more and get started.
The TRIO Student Support Services program is a wonderful resource for eligible students to access personalized advising, mentoring, tutoring and more. Visit the TRIO website to see if you qualify.
Technology Access:
– Are you in need of a reliable laptop? BC’s Associated Student Government & Student Affairs has a laptop loaner program! Students should contact Student Business Center at sbc@bellevuecollege.edu and request the laptop loaner agreement form. Students must be enrolled in Winter classes to be eligible for a laptop.
– The Affordable Connectivity Plan helps eligible people receive discounted Internet access and computer discounts. Please see the Affordable Connectivity program fact sheet for more information on eligibility. Visit AffordableConnectivity.gov to submit an application. For more information, call 877-384-2575 or visit fcc.gov/ACP.
Additional technology resources can be found at BC COVID 19 technology page.
Have a quick question for an Academic Advisor? Academic Advising will provide drop-in advising via online and in-person appointments during the first week of the quarter to help you start the year off right.
Drop-in times will be from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.: Students can stop by U101 or call 425-564-2212 to be added to the drop-in list for the day.
Did you know that BC staff and faculty are required to communicate with students only through BC and Canvas Email? To ensure you do not miss anything, make sure you check your BC email regularly.
