On November 1 and 15, gain volunteer experience by helping maintain the beautiful T Building Rain Garden. Learn about the benefits of rain gardens and native plant species, while also learning more about ornamental species and noxious weeds.

Volunteer with the Grounds Crew this fall!
Meet the crew at the rain gardens on the southside of the T Building. Drop in at any point during the below times:
November 1, 12 to 2 p.m.
November 15, 9 to 11 a.m.
You’ll learn about the benefits of rain gardens and native plant species, while also learning more about ornamental species and noxious weeds. Gloves, tools, and any other equipment needed will be provided.
Help the Grounds Crew maintain the health of the rain garden by removing noxious weeds. There will also be potential to learn about soil management and put down mulch and cardboard to aid in water retention.
