BC’s Puente and Umoja programs focus on closing the opportunity gap for Latine and Black populations and play a vital role in providing holistic student services that have been known to increase retention and graduation rates.

Come learn more about how you can support the Puente program from Program Lead Hector Guzman, Puente Faculty Professor José Aparicio, and Puente Counselor Ana Bravo. Also, discover how you can support the Umoja program from Program Lead Darnita Boynton-Howard and Umoja staff/faculty. Each program will discuss its benefits, provide student success tips, and explain how to go about connecting Latine and Black students to their vital services.
