Garden Kick-off Event, June 9

Join the Garden Club, the Black Student Union, and the Office of Sustainability to kick-off the summer growing season at the student garden. Help prep and plant the garden and learn how to grow plants from seeds. Everyone is welcome.

More Information:

Join us on June 9 from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. at the student garden to kick-off the summer growing season.

Get to know your fellow bulldogs and learn how to sustainably grow your own food and flowers. Together, we will be clearing the garden beds, preparing the soil, and planting seedlings.

There will be a “Growing from Seeds” demo at 11-11:30 a.m. where you’ll learn how to grow plants from seeds in upcycled containers! Feel free to bring your own tub, jug, or container to grow in or use a container that is provided.

The event is open to everyone and participants can join anytime between 11 a.m. – 2 p.m.
We will have water bottles, lettuce plants, seeds and other goodies to give away until supplies last!

You’ll find us at the garden in front of BC’s greenhouse off Snoqualmie River Road.
