Learn how to make some simple Japanese dishes from a professional chef! The first 20 students who sign up by May 15 will receive a Miso Package and Japanese vinegar from the JCEC.

Event Description: Learn how to make some simple Japanese dishes from a professional chef! A professional sushi chef from Japan, the owner of “Ten Sushi,” Mr. Takahashi, will demonstrate and show us how to make Miso Soup and a variety of simple Japanese sauces. Note: The above image is just an example. Sign up below to receive some free items for this workshop. (must be a BC-enrolled student with a US address)

Registration Terms/Requirements: The first 20 students who sign up via this registration form will receive a Miso Package and Japanese vinegar from the JCEC. In order to receive these workshop supplies, students must sign up before registration closes on 5/15/22. Students should provide their own protein (chicken, beef, pork, fish, or tofu), and any kind of vegetable(s), sugar, a mixing bowl (or a ziplock bag) and have a microwave oven (or some kind of a heating unit). Students can still join the workshop without registering and without receiving the supplies.
