Apply now! In partnership with Stepping in the Right Direction, the Black Students Affinity Coordinator and Black Student Union have created an opportunity for students to travel and visit four Historically Black Colleges & Universities (HBCUs) located in regions of Georgia, Alabama, and Florida.
Students who are awarded attendance will be given the opportunity to meet college admission advisors and have a personalized tour of the campus. The colleges listed on the itinerary are Morris Brown College, Tuskegee University, Alabama State University, and Florida A&M University.
HBCUs have been around for over 100 years and are a source of great accomplishment and pride for the African American community and many others. HBCUs provide BIPOC populations with economic and educational opportunities and are deeply rooted in faith, community, and service, which is why HBCUs produce students with great values. With over 100 HBCUs located across the nation, they make up only 3% of the colleges and universities in the United States and produce 20% of all Black and African-American graduates.
Eligibility criteria and Disclaimers:
