About the Council for Inclusion and Diversity
The Council for Inclusion and Diversity supports the recruitment and retention of a diverse student body and works to reduce disparities in student achievement. The council also promotes the recruitment and retention of a diverse workforce and equitable access to professional opportunities.
The council may make recommendations to the president, College Assembly or other councils for further consideration and action. It also encourages communication, coordination and collaboration across the college.
The Council for Inclusion and Diversity provides a framework for advancing Bellevue College’s commitment to diversity within BC Governance and is supported by the Office of Equity and Pluralism and Human Resources.
