Library Exhibit: Celebrating 60 Years

What do hard hats, groovy bell-bottoms, and orange spiral staircases have in common? Find out at the Bellevue College Library’s new exhibit celebrating the history of Bellevue College.

Presented as part of the college’s 60th anniversary celebration, the archives exhibit showcases memorable moments, people and programs from throughout Bellevue College’s history.

Explore the first Bellevue Community College course catalog, discover vintage technology and read both Dr. Merle Landerholm’s inaugural address and Bellevue College President David May’s reflections on its lasting impact.

Visitors are also invited to share their own Bellevue College memories at the exhibit’s activity table.

The exhibit is located on the second floor of the Library and will remain on display through the end of 2026.
