Bellevue College Economics will host Eli Taylor Goss, executive director of the Washington Budget and Policy Center, for a discussion on how economics can advance the public good.

The lecture will take place Tuesday, June 9, from 11:30 AM-12:20 PM in N Building (N201).

This presentation will examine the role of taxation in promoting economic and social justice and explore how fiscal policy can help address inequality while building more inclusive economies. The talk will also highlight career pathways for economists interested in public service, advocacy, research, and community engagement.

Instructors are welcome to send students. Faculty planning to bring an entire class are asked to notify the organizers in advance.
