Vigil to Honor Juniper Blessing and Transgender Lives Lost to Violence
The Queer & Trans Resource Center, 2SLGBTQIA+ Task Force, and Gender-Based Violence Prevention program will host a vigil honoring the life of Juniper Blessing, a University of Washington student and transgender woman, as well as the many transgender people whose lives have been lost through acts of violence.
Date: Wednesday, May 27
Time: 6 PM
Location: Fountain Courtyard
The vigil will include speakers from the Bellevue College community and beyond, followed by an open mic opportunity for attendees who wish to share reflections. Participants are welcome to bring flowers or other memorabilia in honor of Juniper.
