The contractor for the new W Building is currently installing roofing materials, and it is expected that there will be asphalt roofing odors in the general vicinity of the construction site.

W Building Construction Update: Roofing Work May Cause Temporary Odors
Bellevue College advises the campus community that roofing installation is currently underway for the new W Building. During this work, asphalt roofing odors may be noticeable in areas between B, C, and R Buildings, depending on wind conditions.
The work is expected to continue intermittently through the end of the week and is part of completing a waterproof enclosure for the new facility. Updates will be shared if there are any changes to the schedule or impact.
