Understanding the UW Major System Presentation

Bellevue College students who are interested in transferring to the University of Washington in Seattle are invited to attend the “Understanding the UW Major System” presentation.

Time: 2–3 PM, Wednesday, Mar. 11
Location: U Building, Bellevue College

The presentation will provide an overview of how majors are structured at the University of Washington and will be especially helpful for students who have applied to transfer for Autumn 2026 and are interested in capacity-constrained majors.

Topics will include:

  • Types of majors

  • Key dates and deadlines

  • Planning resources

Please note: This session is not applicable to Running Start students. Running Start students are encouraged to attend a First-Year Information Session: admit.washington.edu/visit/campus-tours/#calendar

Registration required

If space is available, students will receive a confirmation message with the event location by the end of the day Friday, Mar. 6, sent to their Bellevue College email.
