Do you ever wonder how to manage conflict, communicate effectively with direct reports and colleagues, overcome negativity, or get things done more easily? Crucial Conversations for Mastering Dialogue addresses these challenges with interactive activities, engaging videos, and real-time practice.

Fridays, May 30, June 6, and June 13, 2025
1:00–5:00 PM
Zoom (virtual)

As a learner, you will receive:
• Digital Learner Guide
• Digital course completion certificate
• Six-week ongoing learning experience

Please register only if you can attend all three sessions, as each session builds on the previous one. Supervisor approval is required to participate.

What You Will Learn

  1. Get Unstuck – Identify conversations holding you back and choose the right ones to move forward.

  2. Master My Stories I – Understand and take control of your emotions by owning your story.

  3. Master My Stories II – Eliminate negative stories that hinder conversations and results.

  4. Start With Heart – Stay focused on what you really want and lay a foundation of good intent.

  5. State My Path – Share tough messages respectfully and invite others into the conversation.

  6. Make It Safe – Rebuild safety when conversations become defensive.

  7. Learn to Look – Recognize signs of failed dialogue and manage your style under stress.

  8. Seek Mutual Purpose – Find common ground, even during conflict.

  9. Explore Others’ Paths – Listen actively to understand emotions and respond productively.

  10. Move to Action – Turn dialogue into action and results.

Facilitator
Warda Zaman, Director of Talent and Organization Development, Human Resources, is a licensed facilitator of Crucial Conversations for Mastering Dialogue and Crucial Conversations for Accountability. She is also a Gallup Certified Strengths Coach and a certified Executive Coach through the Center of Executive Coaching.

Registration Instructions

  1. Confirm with your supervisor that you can attend all sessions.

  2. Register here.

  3. From the learning programs drop-down menu, select “Crucial Conversations for Mastering Dialogue.”

  4. Register early, as sessions are filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
