Wellness Classes for Employees Support Physical and Mental Well-Being

Bellevue College is offering a range of wellness classes for employees throughout the academic year to encourage a healthy, balanced lifestyle. Sessions include yoga, fitness classes, and open gym hours—all designed to promote both physical and mental well-being.

Class Schedule and Descriptions

Yoga (Beginner)
Tuesdays and Thursdays through June 17, 2025
11 AM–Noon | G Building, Room 110
Instructors: Meg Pearson, Kelly Butterworth, Lena Rosen, Rachel Lowe
This beginner class introduces foundational poses, breathing techniques, and relaxation practices aimed at building strength, flexibility, and overall wellness.

Yoga (Intermediate)
Wednesdays through June 11, 2025
1–2 PM | G Building, Room 110
Instructor: Sally Smith
Tailored for experienced participants, this class builds on foundational skills with more advanced poses and techniques to improve strength, balance, and flexibility.

Mighty Morning Fitness
Wednesdays | 7:30–8:30 AM | G Building, Room 111
Instructor: Michelle McRae
Start your day strong with a high-energy workout that includes cardio intervals, strength training, and functional movement. No registration is required for this session.

Registration and Consent
Participants in yoga classes must complete a registration and consent form:
