Bellevue College Spring Performing Arts Season Offers Music, Dance, and Theatre Events for the Community

Bellevue College will host a variety of music, dance, and theatre performances this spring, featuring both student artists and internationally acclaimed professionals. From March through June, the Theatre Arts and Music departments invite the campus and greater community to enjoy live performances in two on-campus venues: the 300-seat Carlson Theatre and the 60- to 80-seat Stop Gap Studio, both located in the E Building.

General admission prices range from free to $20, making performances affordable and accessible. Paid parking and campus maps are available. Performances are produced throughout the academic year by the Theatre Arts and Music departments.

27th Annual Bellevue College Jazz Festival

  • Location: Carlson Theatre

  • Description: Join the Music department for a two-day celebration of jazz, featuring middle and high school bands. The top three high school bands will perform at an 8 PM concert alongside the Bellevue College Jazz Band and guest artist John Swana. Evening concert tickets are $15.

Petrit Çeku – Bellevue College Guitar Series

  • Description: Internationally acclaimed guitarist Petrit Çeku has performed worldwide with major symphony orchestras. This recital is part of the Bellevue College Guitar Series.

BC/DC Dance Ensemble Show

  • Description: Directed by Jenna Spinei, the Bellevue College Dance Company presents a dynamic evening of student dance performances.

Chicago – A Musical by Fred Ebb, John Kander, and Bob Fosse

  • Dates: May 29–June 7

  • Time: 7:30 PM

  • Location: Stop Gap Studio

  • Description: This satirical tale set in 1920s Chicago follows Roxie Hart and Velma Kelly in their pursuit of fame and acquittal. Directed by Bradetta Vines, with musical direction by Aimee Hong and choreography by Jenna Spinei.

  • Tickets: $15 general admission, $10 for Bellevue College students and employees.
