Workshop: Kindness in Academia – Strategies for Equity and Empathy

Kindness is a fundamental yet often overlooked part of academic spaces. As we navigate challenges such as job precarity, burnout, and systemic social injustices, how can we foster kindness in our interactions with students, colleagues, and ourselves?

This interactive workshop will explore strategies for maintaining integrity and developing circles of empathy. Participants will engage with the Four R’s of Kindness—Resistance, Resilience, Restoration, and Reformation—to cultivate equitable and supportive learning environments.
