BC Governance Updates & Upcoming Elections

Welcoming Back College Assembly Chair Amy McCrory
Bellevue College Governance welcomed back College Assembly Chair Amy McCrory in November. While the governance community celebrated her return, the news wasn’t widely shared. McCrory has rejoined BC Governance, working alongside Chairs Michael Broome (FC), Yves Martin and Laeticia Nkinsi (EC), Valencio Socia and Becky Turnbull (CC), Daniel Ngoy (ASGBC), Hector Guzman (SSC), Judith Paquette (RPC), David Bruckner (IC), and Alicia Brender (CID). Together, they have managed governance goals, proposals, exclusive briefings, and worked to inform constituencies about key issues affecting the college.

Recently, College Assembly met with EAB as part of the Strategic Planning process. For more information, reach out to any of the governance representatives listed above.

Nomination Season for BC Governance Elections Begins in March 2025

Interested in getting involved? BC Governance elections begin in March 2025. Governance provides representation to the President’s Cabinet and offers an opportunity to engage in college service, typically requiring about eight hours per month during the school year.
