Bellevue College is offering a CPR, AED, First Aid, and Narcan certification course to support emergency preparedness by equipping employees and faculty with lifesaving skills.

Who Should Attend?
  • Employees and faculty renewing a two-year certification
  • First-time participants learning new emergency response skills
Course Highlights

This 5.5-hour course includes hands-on practice in small groups. Certification is based on instructor observation of skill performance.

Topics include:

  • The role of the first aid provider
  • Sudden cardiac arrest and basic CPR for adults, children, and infants
  • Using an automated external defibrillator (AED)
  • Foreign body airway obstruction
  • First aid assessment and care for serious injuries, burns, and sudden illness
  • Narcan administration
Facilitator

Certified instructors from I Know CPR, Inc., accredited by the American Heart Association, Medic First Aid International, and the American Safety & Health Institute, will lead the course.
