Refurbishment work on the L Building roof is set to begin this winter quarter. The project includes replacing and repairing air handling units (AHUs), skylights, and roofing to enhance the building’s functionality.

Key Work Schedule and Impacts
Jan. 14–18: Roof Work and Demolition

Expect increased noise from 7–9 AM during this period.

Noisiest work will conclude by 8:30–9 AM to minimize disruptions.
Starting Jan. 20: Air Handling Units Replacement

AHUs will be replaced in phases, with the second set scheduled for early March.

Temperature variations may occur, but adjustments include boosting existing units and providing space heaters.
Road Closures on Kelsey Creek Road

Portions of the road will close temporarily during crane operations for AHU removal and placement.

The road will remain open, and the bus stop will be moved slightly south.
