Program Overview: The Health Promotion and Education BAS degree prepares students for careers in health promotion and education. It also fulfills prerequisite requirements for advanced degrees.
What Can You Do With This Degree?
- Promote Health and Wellness: Develop and implement programs that encourage healthy lifestyles and wellness in communities, schools, and workplaces.
- Educate Communities: Serve as a health educator or community health worker, providing essential information on health topics and disease prevention.
- Advocate for Public Health: Work in public health advocacy, influencing policies and initiatives that improve health outcomes.
- Pursue Advanced Careers: Prepare for graduate programs in counseling, social work, physical therapy, physician assistant roles, or K-12 health/PE education.
