This short asynchronous course will begin by defining climate justice and biodiversity using Indigenous and urban perspectives. It will provide an overview of relevant climate change impacts in Washington state and explain how these fit into the global system.

This short course will begin by defining climate justice and biodiversity using Indigenous and urban perspectives. It will provide an overview of relevant climate change impacts in Washington state and explain how these fit into the global system. Participants will explore solutions from Regeneration: Ending the Climate Crisis in One Generation and engage in an active-learning experience to create their own backyard habitat. Additionally, each participant will develop a lesson appropriate for their course.
