A year after four companies participated in the City of Bellevue’s first Civic Innovation Challenge and showcased their products at a regional technology forum, the Exchange Northwest partnership is preparing to announce its next challenge.
Exchange Northwest, a technology and civic innovation partnership among the City of Bellevue, Bellevue College, King County and the state of Washington, will introduce the new challenge during its fall Exchange Northwest Forum.

The forum will also feature a panel discussion exploring guardrails for the ethical use of artificial intelligence. The conversation comes as institutions across the country consider how to guide the rapid growth of emerging technologies in ways that reflect public values.
Last fall, Bellevue brought together regional leaders, community partners, and industry experts for an all-day Innovation Exchange event.
