Japan Week, Bellevue College’s annual fall festival organized by students, is celebrating its 10th anniversary. Volunteers are needed to help make this special event a success.
Volunteer Opportunities
Japan Week is recruiting:
- 200 event volunteers to help with venue setup on the afternoon of Friday, Oct. 9, and during the festival on Saturday, Oct. 10.
- 20 mikoshi, or portable shrine, carriers for the festival parade.
Volunteer Requirements
Volunteers must be at least 15 years old by Saturday, Oct. 10, 2026.
High school students may receive a Volunteer/Community Service Certificate documenting their volunteer hours.
