KBCS Seeks Volunteers for Fall Fund Drive
KBCS, the Eastside’s only full-power community radio station, is located on the Bellevue College campus. The station offers a diverse mix of music and public affairs programming, with many programs hosted by volunteer DJs.
Rather than accepting funding from advertisers, KBCS operates as a nonprofit and relies on donations from individual listeners to help keep its programming free from commercial influence.
KBCS is seeking volunteers for its upcoming Fall Fund Drive, Sept. 18-27. Volunteers are needed to help with the fundraising phone bank by answering incoming calls from KBCS donors.
No prior experience is needed, and a short training will be provided. Volunteers can also enjoy snacks and coffee, tour the station and learn about additional volunteer opportunities at KBCS.
