RISE Learning Institute Announces Student Research Award Winners
The RISE Learning Institute, in partnership with Professor Sarah Ghasedi of the English Department, is pleased to announce the winners of the first Bellevue College Student Research Award.
Ghasedi proposed the award, adapted the rubrics, recruited faculty to judge applications and managed the judging process. The RISE Learning Institute created the award website and online application, developed marketing materials and funded the award.
The award was developed to highlight the undergraduate research Bellevue College students are doing and to recognize the value and impact of undergraduate research as a high-impact practice.
The award recognizes students who demonstrate outstanding ability to define a research topic; locate, evaluate and use information sources; and communicate their own ideas alongside the ideas of others to create an original course project.
Profiles of most award winners are available. Use this link to view them on the RISE Learning Institute Student Research Award winners page.
