Sirius Astronomy will present an evening of five-minute astronomy talks designed for anyone interested in learning more about astronomy. The free event also offers an opportunity to connect with a local BIPOC and multiracial astronomy outreach group dedicated to making astronomy accessible to all.

Free Planetarium Event May 29

Join Sirius Astronomy for an evening of five-minute astronomy talks Friday, May 29, from 6:30-7:30 PM in the Planetarium, B Building (B244).

Attendees are invited to gather beginning at 6 PM on the second floor of L Building for social time before the presentations. Refreshments will be provided by Sirius Astronomy.

This event is free, but seating is limited. Advance registration is encouraged using the event sign-up form or the QR code on the flyer.

Sirius Astronomy is a BIPOC and multiracial amateur astronomy group that provides free astronomy outreach throughout the greater Seattle area. While the group focuses on serving underrepresented communities, all programs are free and open to everyone interested in learning more about astronomy.
