Molecular Biosciences Seminar: Tissue Chips in Space
Bellevue College invites students and employees to attend an upcoming Molecular Biosciences Seminar featuring guest speaker Ed Kelly from the University of Washington.
Tissue Chips in Space: Rethinking How We Study Human Organs
This seminar explores how scientists are using “organ-on-a-chip” technology to better predict how human kidneys respond to new drugs. Rather than relying solely on animal models, this research uses microengineered systems to simulate human organ function. Attendees will learn how this technology is developed and refined, and how it may shape the future of biomedical research.
