Faculty, staff, and members of the Bellevue College community are invited to attend the upcoming Council for Inclusion and Diversity (CID) meeting, offered in a hybrid format for both in-person and virtual participation.
The CID plays a central role in advancing Bellevue College’s commitment to equity and inclusion. The council works to support the recruitment and retention of a diverse student body, reduce disparities in student achievement, and promote equitable professional opportunities for faculty and staff. Through collaboration and shared governance, CID provides recommendations to the college president, College Assembly, and other councils, helping guide institutional priorities and actions.
In addition, the council fosters cross-campus communication, coordination, and collaboration, ensuring that diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts are integrated across the college. CID’s work is supported by the Office of Equity and Pluralism and Human Resources, reinforcing Bellevue College’s mission to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment for all.
