Bellevue College students are invited to test real startup software at the Bug Smashing Whackathon, a collaborative event focused on identifying bugs and improving user experience.

Event details

  • Date: Saturday, May 9
  • Time: 10 AM–3 PM
  • Location: L Building Lobby (L100)

Local startups will host testing tables where participants rotate through live products to find bugs, edge cases, and UX issues. Each session begins with a brief overview to guide testing, followed by a head-to-head challenge using AI tools.

Awards will be presented for Best Bug Found and Best UX Recommendation.

This event provides an opportunity to gain applied experience, build testing and UX skills, and connect with startup founders and tech professionals. All skill levels are welcome.
