Required Screening Committee Training for Bellevue College Employees
Bellevue College requires all employees serving on screening committees to complete mandatory training. This includes hiring managers, program chairs, screening committee chairs, bias mitigation advocates and all committee members. Employees must complete both required trainings to participate.

This training provides foundational knowledge for conducting fair, impartial and equitable recruitment processes, along with guidance and resources from the Office of Human Resources.

Bias Mitigation Advocate Training
Prerequisite: Completion of both required trainings
This training prepares participants to recognize and address potential bias during recruitment. Advocates support equitable processes by working closely with the screening committee chair and the Office of Human Resources.
