This quarter Faculty Commons and the Bellevue College Library are highlighting the poetry works in the Equity Reads collection. The Equity Reads program is sponsored by the Office for Community Care and Institutional Transformation. Faculty and staff are invited to join the fun, with copies of all Equity Reads titles available for check out in the Bellevue College Library (D126).
The discussion for How to Be Drawn by Terrance Hayes will be held from 12-1 PM on Feb. 17 in the Faculty Commons (D104). This discussion will be lead by librarian Elena Maans-Lorincz.
Another book of poetry, “Letters to a Young Brown Girl” by Barbara Jane Reyes will be discussed from 12-1PM on March 10. This discussion will be lead by librarian Chloe Horning and professor Sajonna Sletten.
