You might know mitochondria as the ‘powerhouses’ of the cell, but these strange little organelles do much more than just make energy. David Sokolov is a fifth year graduate student in the Molecular and Cellular Biology program at UW/Fred Hutch Cancer Center from the Sullivan Lab. Join David for a talk about mitochondria, mitochondrial metabolism in cancer cells, and the ups and downs of grad school.
