Students can receive free blood pressure checks at the HPM Hub in the T Building.
More Information:
High blood pressure often has no symptoms, which is why it’s sometimes called the “silent” issue. A quick check can help you catch changes early and take simple steps to stay on track. Join us for a blood pressure screening. Know your numbers and aim for two checks each year.
Next clinic dates (First Wednesday):
- 11 AM to 2 PM, Wednesday, Feb. 4
- 11 AM to 2 PM, Wednesday, March 4
Location: HPM Hub — T Building, Room 205
College life can come with a lot that affects blood pressure—stress, sleep changes, energy drinks/caffeine, eating patterns, alcohol or nicotine use, family history, certain medications, and limited time for movement. For many students, that combination can raise risk without you realizing it.
What to expect:
- A quick, confidential blood pressure check
- Help understanding what the numbers mean
- If your reading is high, we’ll talk about next steps (like re-checking, tracking, and connecting you to care)
You don’t have to “feel” anything to have high blood pressure. Checking early is one of the easiest ways to protect your long-term health. Stop by the HPM Hub and get checked.
