Bellevue College has received a $202,500 grant for the 2025–26 academic year in support of its Associate in Applied Science–Transfer (AAS-T) Information Technology and Bachelor of Applied Science (BAS) Cybersecurity programs. This funding is part of a statewide initiative aimed at producing 500 new cybersecurity professionals in Washington each academic year.
The college has been awarded this grant for three consecutive years—2023, 2024 and now 2025. Bellevue College’s Information Technology and Cybersecurity programs have consistently surpassed full-time equivalent (FTE) goals during each grant cycle, preparing graduates to meet the increasing demand for cybersecurity professionals in the workforce.
