Bellevue College will welcome Dr. Rick McLaughlin from the Pacific Northwest Research Institute for a thought-provoking presentation on the surprising ways human DNA has evolved over time. His talk, titled “Your Genome and Its Genetic Parasites: Coevolution, Conflict, and Co-option,” will explore the complex and dynamic relationship between our genome and the genetic elements that influence it.
