Campus Construction Project Updates
Bellevue College is progressing on several large construction projects across campus. Updates are shared during bi-monthly meetings, and more information—including updates on the W Building—can be found on the Campus Operations Design and Construction Updates SharePoint site.
C Building South Wing Restroom Renovations
Renovations to the restrooms on the first floor of the south wing of the C Building were completed over fall and winter quarter. These restrooms are now open. A few final items remain, including panel installations at the entrance to the north restroom and scheduled infrastructure work on the HVAC systems.
T Building Heating Repairs
Work is ongoing to resolve heating issues in second- and third-floor offices of the T Building. A temporary heating unit was installed earlier this quarter, and permanent unit replacements are scheduled for May.
L Building Roof and HVAC Upgrades
The L Building is undergoing major updates, including replacement of air-handling units, skylights, and the roof membrane. The project began in January and is expected to finish by the end of June. Roof Top Units (RTUs) have been removed, and new insulation and membrane have been installed. Plumbing and drainage work is in progress. Plumbers will be accessing second-floor rooms—mainly on weekends and between quarters—to complete this work. Expect to see ladders, ceiling openings, and other temporary equipment during this time.
