Bellevue College’s Staff Professional Development Day, held under the theme “Demystifying Success: Unlocking Potential and Empowering Futures,” was a well-attended and engaging event focused on empowering staff, supporting growth, and celebrating the vital contributions of our campus community.

The event featured a variety of in-person and virtual sessions organized around three key tracks:

One notable presentation provided a primer on Large Language Models like ChatGPT, offering valuable insights into the evolving role of AI in professional spaces. Committed to Sustainability
In keeping with our commitment to sustainability, attendees were encouraged to bring reusable cups, and efforts were made to minimize waste. Impressively, over 80% of the waste from boxed lunches was composted or recycled:
- Compost: 24.6 lbs
- Recycling: 19.73 lbs
- Landfill: 10.4 lbs
