New Course Offering: ASTR 201 – Selected Topics in Advanced Astronomy
The Astronomy department is excited to announce that ASTR 201 – Selected Topics in Advanced Astronomy will be offered in Spring 2025 for the first time in a while!
This hands-on lab course will cover a wide range of topics, including:
- Planetary missions
- Stellar spectra
- Telescopes
The course will be co-taught by Professors Joel Lamb and Maria Guadalupe Lizana, providing students with diverse insights and expertise.
Weather permitting, there will also be optional nighttime observation sessions for a truly immersive experience.
