About the Film
Twenty-five years after Paris Is Burning introduced voguing to the world, Kiki revisits New York City’s underground ballroom scene. This vibrant and empowering space allows LGBTQ youths of color to express themselves through dance competitions featuring dynamic choreography, elaborate costumes, and bold performances. More than entertainment, the Kiki scene serves as a refuge for at-risk teens seeking acceptance, support, and community.
This event is hosted by the Black Students Affinity Coordinator and the LGBTQIA+ Students Affinity Coordinator.
