CPR, AED, First Aid, and Narcan Certification for Employees and Faculty
Bellevue College is offering a CPR, AED, First Aid, and Narcan certification course to support emergency preparedness by equipping employees and faculty with lifesaving skills.
Who Should Attend?
- Employees and faculty renewing a two-year certification
- First-time participants learning new emergency response skills
Course Highlights
This 5.5-hour course includes hands-on practice in small groups. Certification is based on instructor observation of skill performance.
Topics include:
- The role of the first aid provider
- Sudden cardiac arrest and basic CPR for adults, children, and infants
- Using an automated external defibrillator (AED)
- Foreign body airway obstruction
- First aid assessment and care for serious injuries, burns, and sudden illness
- Narcan administration
Facilitator
Certified instructors from I Know CPR, Inc., accredited by the American Heart Association, Medic First Aid International, and the American Safety & Health Institute, will lead the course.
