Model UN New York Team Applications Available

Join the Bellevue College Model United Nations Team!

Bellevue College’s Model United Nations team is recruiting new members for an exciting opportunity to compete in the National Model United Nations Conference in New York City from April 12–17, 2025. All expenses are fully funded for accepted students!

About the Conference

This five-day event allows students to:

• Represent a country at the UN through research and writing.
• Practice negotiation and problem-solving skills.
• Gain hands-on experience in diplomacy.

Who Can Join?

Any Bellevue College student interested in learning about international diplomacy and the workings of the United Nations is welcome to apply!

How to Participate

Requirements:

1. Submit an application form by Monday, Jan. 27, 2025.

2. Request a faculty recommendation by Jan. 27, 2025 (takes 5 minutes).
   Recommendation Form
3. Attend a position paper writing workshop in February.
4. Work with a partner to write and submit a position paper to the Model UN by March 1, 2025.
5. Attend a March workshop on negotiation and resolution writing.
