The CID works to:

• Ensure the recruitment and retention of a diverse student body.

• Reduce disparate achievement outcomes.

• Promote the recruitment and retention of a diverse workforce with equitable professional opportunities.

The CID makes recommendations to the president, College Assembly, or other councils, as appropriate, and fosters cross-campus communication, coordination, and collaboration. Supported by the Office of Equity and Pluralism and Human Resources, the CID provides a framework to further the college’s commitment to diversity within BC Governance.
