Call for XR Project Proposals

Bellevue College’s XR Lab invites faculty, staff, and local non-profit organizations—such as museums—to submit project proposals that offer students real-world challenges to solve through innovative XR (Extended Reality) experiences.

We are seeking projects that align with XR contexts, including:

  • Hands-on Training: Simulating the use of dangerous or expensive equipment or procedures.
  • Scale Exploration: Visualizing microscopic or astronomical structures.
  • Creative Expression: Developing artistic and conceptual experiences.
  • Contextual Learning: Enhancing real-world experiences with digital overlays.
  • Collaborative Design: Facilitating remote, real-time design and visualization.
  • Empathy Development: Creating immersive storytelling experiences.
  • Social Interaction: Designing virtual environments for social and collaborative activities.

Successful projects may be considered for release as Open Educational Resources (OER) on the Bellevue College XR Lab OER site, inspiring future learners and sharing knowledge.
