Bellevue College is offering a CPR, AED, First Aid, and Narcan certification course for employees and faculty. This training supports emergency preparedness by equipping participants with lifesaving skills.
Who Should Attend?
- Employees and faculty renewing a two-year certification
- First-time participants learning new emergency response skills
Course Highlights:
This 5 ½-hour course includes hands-on practice in small groups. Certification depends on instructor observation of skill performance. Topics include:
- The role of the first aid provider
- Sudden cardiac arrest and basic CPR for adults, children, and infants
- Using an automated external defibrillator (AED)
- Foreign body airway obstruction
- First aid assessment and care for serious injuries, burns, and sudden illness
- Narcan administration
Facilitator:
“I Know CPR, Inc.” instructors, certified by the American Heart Association, Medic First Aid International, and the American Safety & Health Institute, will lead the course.
