Mass Casualty Incident (MCI) Simulation for Nursing Students
The Nursing Program’s annual Mass Casualty Incident (MCI) simulation is scheduled for Friday, Nov. 22, from 8 AM to 5 PM. This immersive training event provides nursing students with hands-on experience in emergency room trauma management, enhanced by realistic scenarios involving professional actors, local police officers, and cinematic special effects.
The King County Sheriff’s Department will also lead a “Stop the Bleed” training session to improve students’ critical life-saving skills. This simulation strengthens teamwork and prepares future healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care in crisis situations.
Please be aware that police vehicles will be present on campus throughout the event.
