Lorenzo Micheli, the renowned Italian guitar virtuoso, will kick off the Bellevue College Guitar Series on Tuesday, October 15, at the Carlson Theatre.

Hailed by music critics as a “virtuoso extraordinaire” (Nice Matin), “absolutely astonishing” (Fort Worth Star-Telegram), and a “prodigious talent” (Soundboard), Lorenzo Micheli burst onto the international guitar scene in 1999 when he won the Guitar Foundation of America’s annual competition in Charleston, South Carolina. Since then, Micheli has maintained an active touring and teaching schedule that has taken him across North America, Europe, Africa, and Latin America.
