October EAP Resources for Employee and Family Well-Being
As we enter October, the Employee Assistance Program (EAP) offers resources to support employee, family, and workplace well-being. This month’s focus is on Domestic Violence and Intimate Partner Violence Awareness Month, highlighting critical resources and support for survivors.
This Month’s Featured Resources:
- Domestic Violence Awareness: In recognition of Domestic Violence Awareness Month, EAP provides tools to foster supportive environments for survivors. Statistics show that 1 in 4 women and 1 in 7 men in the U.S. experience severe intimate partner violence in their lifetime. Survivors are also more likely to experience major depression and attempt suicide. By educating ourselves and sharing resources, we can help break the cycle of abuse. For more information, visit the National Domestic Violence Hotline.
- Events and Webinars: This October, EAP highlights free webinars from trusted organizations that address domestic violence, survivor support, and prevention efforts. These resources offer valuable insights for survivors and those who wish to support them. EAP also offers a catalog of on-demand webinars available anytime.
- Reconnecting with Aging Parents: Through the Work/Life website, EAP is providing tools to help you reconnect with aging parents. For more details, check out the following resources:
