Join us today for a special event featuring Dr. Larry Matsuda, who will share his powerful poems reflecting on the injustices faced by Japanese and Japanese Americans during World War II. Born in Minidoka, Idaho, where his family was incarcerated, Dr. Matsuda uses poetry, photos, and books to tell the story of these experiences and discuss their relevance today. His work is also featured in the new art installation near the Wilburton Light Rail station.
